My LDACian Experience Part 1

This is an UNCLASSIFIED blogging of what I been through for the past month.... ^__^

Situation: LDAC - Warrior Forge 2009 - 5th Regiment - Bravo Company - 4th Platoon
When: June 21st to July 19
Place: Seattle, WA
Weather: 40 degree in the morning and 80 degree during the day
Terrain: Small hill, Thick woody area, prairie, mountainous, depression, Dry out creek/lakes, forest
Animal: Bears, deers, a lot of spiders and crawling things, GIANT ant hill, mosquitoes, and everything that live in a woody area
Typical day:
Wake up at 0430
Formation at 0500
Breakfast at 0530
Barrack Maintenance at 0600
Training start at 0700
Lunch is MRE at 1230
Training end at 1830
Dinner at 1900
TAC time, OPORD, 1900-2200
Light Out at 2200

1st day: Leaving DFW and arrive at Seattle WA, check in
















Arrive at Fort Lewis




















Day 2-3
In processing, full body physical, blood test, drug test, and get our tactical equipment

































Day 4- Physical Test- 68 Push Up, 75 Sit Up, and 13:20 2-miles run b ^__^ d

People I talked to in 2009

In the month of January and up till now,
I talked a lot with people at church/choir (about church event and joke around), my nightly poker group ( have a lot of conversation about life while playing poker and drink beer), at TCU group, in order, I talked to Don couple times a week, then Brian, both aim and person, then bao, peter, huy, yen, kristen, jamella, kim, bich, cheryl, allison, anh, and the least, sam-wise ( we said hi and i comment that the girl on my lucky star is hot), I also catch up with a lot of old high school friends at An birthday party. For school, well, there always project and group works, ROTC doing a lot of event so I talk some in there. Know couple of new people at new year event and have little talk.
So i realize that I been talking less and less each day, hmmm ^__^

Happy New Year

My favorite season is always Spring and my favorite holiday is always been Vietnamese New Year. Such a beautiful season and such a joyful holiday.. LOVE it...

Our church started to celebrate Vietnamese New Year this last Friday with a mass, then our festival begun. I talked to a bunch of friend, play card, and sing a duet with Clara on stage. Afterward, I went to a friend house and played poker till 2am. Got home at 2:15, eat and go to sleep at 3. Woke up at 8 am, get ready for church, mass at 9 am. I sing in the choir then went down to the festival and set up my Bau Cua station. For those who don't know, it an asian game where you place your bet on an animal and win money. Anyway, I work till 3, won $450 for the church. Then I get my group ready so they can practice for the skit at night. Our skit turn out really great, good job everyone. After 2 hour of new year skit, it open karaoke on stage again so I'm up again. hehehehe i love singing, just not very good at it. Then our church group just sit there and talk for an hour. Oh yea, Theresa, Magan, Dawn, and Kim visited, that also make my night. Then I drive to my friend house and play poker again, we drink beer and talk till 1am. I got home and watch Federer beat Berych in 5 set, such a great tennis match. Go to sleep, wake up at 8 again, mass at 9. Then work at Bau Cua again, then clean up. I love my church...

P.S. My knee got weak when I saw a friend today... wow.. hahaha.. she is stunningly beautiful.

Nice Stranger

My brother and I was driving back from our poker routine tonight at 1:35 am, when we travel down Belt Line, we saw a Civic car driving in our opposite direction and flash his headlight continuously, we was really confuse, what is he trying to do?!?!?? We was in middle of our conversation of what is he trying to said when we saw the cop in front of us.. OHHHH that nice stranger trying to warn us.... although we didn't speed but that still pretty nice... ^__^ so flashing your headlight is a sign to warm people there cop... i learned something new... yay
